The violinist, vocalist and live-looping artist creates mesmerising adventures into the spaces between pop, jazz and electronics. XANI’s colourful live sets, sometimes completely improvised, are distinguished by daring instrumental parts, pedals and effects that contrast beautifully with the warmth of her pop-styled vocals.
Fusing contemporary techniques with a classical instrument, XANI performs original songs and improvisations influenced by the likes of Björk, Camille, Kraftwerk, Battles and trance music. A one-woman show by a charismatic performer and storyteller.
